I have been trying to order a gift card with out company logo on it for over a week. I spent time designing the layout and card design specifically following their rules. Every time I place the order it gets canceled. I reached out to someone at customer support and they requested my EIN, I provided it... The they requested a letter from the IRS verifying the EIN, I provided it, after that they completely stopped responding. I have jumped through numerous hoops in order to just order one gift card.

Dear Giftcards.com,
Your current security screening process is making you LOSE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!
Was planning to use Giftcards.com for all of our sales incentives for internal and external, but after FOUR failed attempts at trying to place an order, I am giving up and going with another vendor.
I get it, security screen is a great idea! But you need a new screening process. Incredibly frustrating, terrible customer service, and zero incentive to ever use the company again. I'll take my business elsewhere.

I have been using this site for about a year now. No problems up until now. The first of every month I order lots of $10 gift cards to hand out to my employees for a little employee appreciation. For some reason when I try to check out I get a message saying they cant accept my method of payment. I always use the company card for this. I tried using my personal card and got the same message. Not sure what is going on but its a bummer because its hard to find $10 gift cards locally.
This was my first try and I chose a wrong card - my mistake! Right after I placed the order, I sent them 2 emails first asking to allow me to replace the card and then asking them to change the card into a visa. They replied to my email and explained that they could not change the card but they can issue a refund. So I am very happy they did it. I will try again and will make sure I choose the right one.
I ordered a $50 visa card for my Grandaughter and a matching birthday card woth balloons on it. Although it took 2 weeks to deliver via postal service, the entire proccess was very good. The matching balloon colorful birthday visa card and birthday card are highly recomended. This is the second time I used them and I will order again for every birthday needed!
I was excited to be able to create a personalized pre-paid VISA card as a gift. Unfortunately my friend never received the card. I tried tracking it on their website and it only gives confirmation of order. I tried calling and you get a recording that takes you to different prompts but you go in a circle with no answer. I tried sending emails but I get cookie cutter replies that the case has been resolved. I have spent an incredible amount of time trying to resolve this but it's very hard to do when the company does not want to be contacted. Now I have to work with my bank to dispute the purchase. You really don't want to go through this. Read some of the reviews posted outside of Trustpilot and you will get a true picture.
Immediately after I purchased a Visa gift card from giftcards.com on 4/16, fraudulent purchases appeared on my credit card account. I had not otherwise used this credit card this month. I had to cancel my credit card. This is disheartening and I will not use this company again.
Placed 2 orders in last 30 days at Giftcards.com, and both were cancelled for no reason. It seems, like many other fake sites, Gifcards.com is in the business of collecting customers' personal and credit card data, and it has no intention of doing any order fulfilment. A total scam. Now, my credit card data is sitting at a random location to be hacked or misused!
I was given a gift card through this website form my employer for Christmas. It says it expires 12/26, yet I was charged a "dormancy fee" after not using my card for a few months. The dormancy fee was my exact remaining balance! FISHY! Total frauds. Do not purchase or gift cards through this website!
When you need a canned answer on why your transaction cannot be processed then you've come to the right web site. "Your order was not approved by our security screening process" they say. Its BS. There is only one company worse than this one and its Comcast. Now I'm sure you realize how bad they are after that comparison.
Tried to buy two ebay digital gift cards using my long term credit card and my real idenity. Was denied by their system because of "potential fraud." Was emailed many hours later to inform me. Complete waste of time. Go elsewhere and maybe you can get what you want (I went and bought them on Paypal and was approved in minutes).
I called these guys hoping to get a replacement card when my card expired. After wasting a bunch of time with these guys, I was told to go read the contract. Effectively, they told me that I can't get a replacement card and my money is gone. For sure they had some clause in their fine print to cover themselves legally. That's what they do. Don't fall for their marketing. Don't waste your time/money with these guys. Their primary business model is to steal from their customers and they'll use legal jargon, fine print, contracts etc. Go with someone else that is legit.
Don't order from Giftcard.com. I had an order for over 500.00 that did not make it to my business. They don't have tracking so they can't tell me where it is. They told me they could not cancel it and reorder it for me. I would have to reorder-- so I did, another 500.00, still don't have that one and they still haven't refunded the first order. I needed for a work presentation so I spent the extra money to have it expressed shipped only to find out that the system can't give me tracking information. You can't talk to a human when you call the number, I am working through an online chat--- that takes forever! Still no resolution!
Do not buy a gift card from this company. My son was given $100 for Christmas and when he tried to use the card it was declined. When I checked the transaction history the money had been taken by some paypal company that we have never heard of or could track. Giftcards.com did nothing to help recover the money! Very disappointing.

This happened to me also. My credit card company said they would do a fraud investigation.
